OptimiCapture is using scheduled tasks for periodical import of users from the local Active Directory.


To configure the scheduled task:

  1. Open Task Scheduler.


  1. Click on Create task in actions.


  1. Fill General tab
    • Name – task name.
    • Security options – check Run whether user is logged on or not.
    • Hidden – check hidden checkbox to proceed with the task in the background.


  1. Create new trigger by clicking on New. Trigger attributes fill based on expected behavior.


 


  1. Define new action.

    • Action attributes:

Enter full path to OptimiDoc ADImport.exe and add argument sync

  1. Save the scheduled task.

Run ADimport.exe from the command line to test the import.

ADimporter.exe stores a log file log.txt in the same folder.
