The section below shows how to configure the scanning workflow for FTP/FTPS. 



  • Directory* - final directory for scanned documents
  • Overwrite files - check this setting to overwrite existing files with scanned documents. Otherwise, a new file with a suffix will be created.
  • Destination type - select FTP/FTPS
  • User specific - is not supported.

Parameters could be used.


  • Server - IP address or name of the server.
  • Port - the port to the server.
  • Ignore certificate - Select YES if you want to ignore the certificate's validity.
  • Username - FTP username
  • Password - FTP user password
  • Connection type - type of connection Active/Passive
  • Encryption
    • None - without encryption
    • Explicit SSL - with an explicit SSL encryption
    • Implicit SSL - with an implicit SSL encryption
