The OptimiDoc Cloud OptimiCapture and OptimiPrint utilizes centralized architecture in Microsoft Azure. Thanks to this, there are minimal maintenance requirements for customers and partners.




Microsoft Azure infrastructure

Azure infrastructure is located in two different regions:

    • West Europe region located in the Netherlands
    • East US region located in Virginia


  • OptimiDoc Cloud OptimiCapture and OptimiPrint App Service
    • Web service providing complete functionality for all customers.
  • SQL database
    • Keeps data for all customers and partners. 
    • Data are separated on the application level. 
  • OCR processing stations
    • Virtual machines are providing OCR services based on ABBYY FineReader Engine version 12. Based on workload, new processing stations are scaled out (CPU or Memory).

      OptimiDoc Cloud OptimiCapture and OptimiPrint App Service or processing stations are scale-out (CPU or Memory) based on workload.



Customer network

  • OptimiDoc Cloud Node
    • provides a local spooler for printing in the exact location. Every device could be connected to one local spooler and could provide a Pull Print functionality. 
    • The OptimiDoc Cloud Node manages authentication and accounting service for Xerox devices.
